Dr. Roland GallayPresented by:
Dr. Roland Gallay,
Garmanage

Dr. Gallay received his PhD in solid states physics from the EPFL in Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1987. He joined the company “montena components” in 1990 where he was in charge of high voltage and power capacitor project developments. He initiated “montena components” supercapacitor activities in 1998, launching the well-known Boostcap products on the market in 2000. From 2002 to 2007 he worked for Maxwell Technologies as WW R&D Senior Director where he developed the “D-cell” size supercapacitor. Since 2007 he is managing his own enterprise Garmanage, providing R&D services to the industry in the fields of electrode, supercapacitors, batteries, and film capacitors.
